Job Description:
The expectations of this position is to provide support by being the communication channel between the company and growers in order to achieve production objectives. The essential functions of this position are as follows: achieve flock production objectives; provide communication flow between Cobb and the growers; achieve flock health status; provide technical support; achieve flock genetic objectives; and communicate effectively with other company departments.
Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional field, normally acquired through four (4) years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Three (3) plus years poultry management related experience.
Computer Skills: Standard skills are required. This position requires in working with Excel spreadsheets and data within several other computer applications.
Travel: Minimal travel.
Biosecurity: The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds). The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
Physical : Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talkor hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. Personal Protective Equipment Required: When visiting facilities is expected to follow the required safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
